How To Work Smarter, Not Harder with Asana
As you all know, I’m a self-published author (yes, on top of having a full-time job and this blog!) Let’s just say I always have a ton to do, especially when I decide to write a book. The book publishing process has a lot of key steps and it’s easy to lose track; whether it’s brainstorming, executing, editing, formatting, cover design, and so on! (See, I told you it’s a lot!) Before kicking off writing my fifth novel, I was determined to find a tool that would help me stay on top of executing my new book project with ease. I’m all about working smarter, not harder and Asana helps me do just that.

How Asana Helps Me as an Author
Normally when I’m writing a book, I feel like a crazy person and like I’m all over the place. It’s a pretty daunting and overwhelming task, especially when you’re self-published. While working on my previous novels, I noticed how disorganized I felt and I wanted to improve that. Let’s just say, I feel really good about my upcoming writing project and I know that it’s in large part to using Asana. I’ve saved time by taking out the guesswork as to what the next steps are. I have a clear picture of what I need to do and when I need to do it from planning to execution, tracking, and monitoring my progress, all the way up to my book’s completion. I can use the tool to collaborate with my editors, schedule recurring tasks when needed, and manage my workload all in one place. I love it!
