Success starts with one’s ability to hone in on not only their skills and gifts but also their habits. You can read my blog about the importance of habits here. 13 Habits of Successful Women

She Never Stops Learning

It doesn’t matter what stage these women are at in their lives, or how successful they’ve been thus far, one thing they don’t do is stop learning. Why? Because you’re never too experienced or old to cultivate new skills or learn new things. Life in itself is a lesson. The thing that separates the smart and successful from the ones that are stagnant and unfulfilled in their lives is that they never stop being a student.

She’s Financially Savvy

Successful women don’t play when it comes to their finances! They make it their duty to understand their finances and make smart decisions. They’re not afraid to invest, and they know how important it is to save, manage their money and pay their bills on time. Being financially savvy gives you a level of security that can make all the difference in your life.

She Doesn’t Back Down From a Challenge

Successful women aren’t afraid of a challenge. They look at a challenge as an opportunity to learn and grow. Because of this their not afraid to take risks and aren’t afraid of failing.

I know so many people that stop themselves from doing something simply because they’re afraid of the challenge or failing. But how will you ever get anywhere in your life if you’re always playing it safe?

She Takes Action

When life throws successful women a curveball, she doesn’t go into panic mode or have a woe is me attitude, she simply takes action. These types of women naturally have a problem-solving mindset and don’t wait to be saved. Instead, they put on their superhero capes, roll up their sleeves and do what it takes to get things done.

She is Organized

Staying on top of things is something that successful women can manage well. It may not always be easy, but it is a priority for them. The organization is so important to these women because they know how it can positively reinforce their mental health and motivation to get things done. They can spend their time on more important things rather than trying to sort through and figure out where things are or what’s coming up next.

She Makes Time For Herself

Successful women aren’t all work and no play. They know when to set aside time for themselves to unwind, rest, and recharge so that they can continue to produce and be amazing. Whether that involves meditating, journaling, exercising, a day at the spa, or just curling up in bed and binge-watching television. These women understand that they cannot pour from an empty cup, that to have a profound impact and help others, they have to take care of themselves first.

She Has an Abundant Mindset

I say this all the time, but mindset is everything! Successful women know this and embrace it. These women embrace an abundant mindset because they practice gratitude and nothing feels impossible to them. So they’re able to try new things without putting so much pressure or being too hard on themselves.

She Sets Goals and Tracks Her Progress

Successful women know the importance of having goals and working towards something. Setting goals allows you to improve your focus, increase productivity and can help boost your confidence. When it comes to goal-setting successful women make sure to set SMART goals.

She Embraces the Journey

I think so many people crash and burn when it comes to pushing themselves and pursuing their purpose and passions because they focus too much on the end result and not enough on the journey. Successful women do the opposite. These women embrace the journey because they know that the journey will be where the lessons are learned and the growth truly happens for her.

She Steers Clear of the Drama

Successful women know how to keep their cool when faced with adversity and they avoid drama. Why? She knows that her time is precious and she’d much rather use it on things that matter to her and will impact her future.

She Has Disciplined Her Passions

We all have passions in life. Successful women know what their passions are but they have mastered the art of disciplining it. Self-discipline is what separates a lot of successful people from unsuccessful ones. I wrote an entire post explaining passion and how to find yours, you can read it here.

She Practices Gratitude

The act of practicing gratitude is simply taking a moment to stop and be thankful for your life and what you have. Having gratitude and practicing it daily comes with many benefits including a happier life, less stress, and more fulfillment overall. Deliberately practicing gratitude will help you refocus on what you have instead of what you lack. Successful women know how to hone in and give things for how far they’ve come so that they can open themselves up to new blessings.
